An authentic Austrian pub. We had goulash which was really good. The waitress was very friendly and spoke English. Thank you.

A legendary restaurant in Klagenfurt. Such a restaurant is seldom or not at all today. The quaint decor, the whole ambience as before, totally authentic and the goulash was first class. The best goulash I ever had. Absolutely recommended for anyone who wants to experience the old good restaurant tradition. During our visit it was full, so better to come in the morning if you want to have lunch.

Uriges gutbürgerliches Wirtshaus mit originellem Innenhof. Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient, die Kinder bekamen extra Kinderbesteck dazu. Sehr gutes Gulasch u hervorragende Kärntner Nudeln!

Waren eine Gruppe mit Kindern, diese mussten am längsten warten. Die anderen waren fertig mit Essen und die Kinder (8 an einem Tisch) hatten noch nichts bekommen

This is an absolute landmark in Klagenfurt! A visit to Pumpe is a must. Gulasch and Beer is the best and Gemütlichkeit is unbeatable in this traditional Gasthaus.

I don't know how different it was under the previous owner, but I would definitely come back for more great Austrian food and the Panther beer - service was top as well.

A typical restaurant, off the beaten track, a stone's throw from the Duomo. Excellent food, typically Austrian, moderate prices, quick and courteous service and they speak Italian!

Has changed management for about a year, the strengths have remained in the special beer and in the meager but reassuring menu of historical dishes of the breweries across the Alps. Sausages, stew in sauce, cutlets, soups, the standard all year round of excellent quality and the prompt service without frills of the waiter makes the same with the bare decor creating an atmosphere not reproducible by an interior decorator, probably the frequenting fauna of the element magical, you will find us few tourists and great friendliness

A very 'local' feel. The food was chip van quality but we ate it all! Staff very friendly but spoke little English. Reasonable prices.

This is where the locals go. Traditional Austrian ambience and kitchen. I had a typical huge plate filling schnitzel. You can't ruin that type of food. My table partners we also very happy with their local dishes.
